Looking after Australia’s commercial floors since 1987
Comcork cork flooring, supplied and installed by Premrest. Sustainable, carbon-negative cork & rubber flooring, made in Victoria and laid by our own team across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

Hospitality, Melbourne
Comcork is Australian-made cork flooring: 70% natural cork and 30% rubber, heat-pressed into sheets and tiles in Victoria. It's warm and quiet underfoot, slip resistant and built for commercial traffic.
Premrest is the flooring contractor that puts it down. We help you choose the right profile, prepare the subfloor, install it and look after it. New to the material? Read our complete guide to cork flooring.

Resilient

Delivered
Premrest has looked after Australia's commercial floors since 1987. Major banks, property managers and FM companies use us because one contractor owns the result, from the first site visit to the floor's tenth birthday.
We walk the space with you: traffic, use, existing floor and substrate, access hours and any wet or outdoor areas.
We bring physical samples, help you pick the right profile, colour and thickness for each zone, and give you a fixed price to supply and install.
Moisture and slab testing, levelling and remediation. The groundwork that decides how long a floor lasts.
Our own install team, staged around tenants and trading, including after-hours and weekend works.
A clean handover with a care guide, then periodic cleaning and resealing that brings Comcork back to as-new.
Where we install Comcork, and what it does for each kind of space.
The carbon story
Cork oak trees absorb carbon dioxide as they grow. The bark is harvested by hand without harming the tree, and it regrows every nine years, absorbing even more CO₂. That stored carbon carries straight into your floor.
Under NGER (National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting) methodology, Comcork's cradle-to-gate footprint is 1.0 to 1.6 kg CO₂-e per kg. Factor in the biogenic carbon stored in the cork and the net impact is negative.
Independently verified and Global GreenTag Level C certified, so the numbers stand up in your ESG, Green Star and NABERS reporting.
